The Shawano air and car show has moved to the rain date Sunday August 21 due to weather.

The Shawano City/County Airport Fly is set for Sunday August 21 from 9:00AM to 2:00PM and promises to be bigger and better than last year.  We are expecting classics, antiques, warbirds, helicopters and modern aircraft.  This year we will also have sky divers and other surprises.  As with last year, we will be providing EAA Young Eagles flights (kids 8-17 with parental permission, from 10:00AM to 1:00PM), PilotSmith Inc will be offering discovery flights and scenic rides (fee based), we will have a car show, equipment displays, food and beverage on site (with food service provided by award winning T-Mac Smokin BBQ).  Entry and parking free.  Everyone is welcome.

EAA Young Eagles Flights at the Shawano City/County Airport during the August 20, 2022 fly-in/car show … EAA Young Eagles are eligible to participate ages 8-17 and must have parental permission.  Permission forms will be available on site during the event.  First to sign up will be first to fly.  Every attempt will be made to fly those interested by the end of the event.  If not possible, a follow-up date will be set later in the year.

Please note the bridge will be out on Airport road due to construction.  All road traffic to the fly-in will be from Green Bay Street to the North and the entrance for spectator parking as well as show cars will be through the SW gate (corner by the bowling alley).  Handicap only parking will be in the Terminal parking lot.

Registration is from 9-noon
Awards at 1pm
Classes that will be judged: 1959 and older, 60s, 70s, 80s, 1990 to present, Best of Show.  1st and 2nd place trophies for the 5 classe. 1 trophy for best of show.
All show cars will enter at the north gate.
